My first haircut in Hong Kong turned out to be a great experience! Since I recently moved within Germany, I sadly no longer have my regular hairdresser, so I decided to give 1984 Hair Salon a try while I was in Hong Kong for work. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Even without an appointment, I only had to wait a few minutes before Coco, the owner, personally took care of my haircut. She speaks excellent English, listened carefully to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and took her time to make sure everything was just right. The whole team was friendly and welcoming, and the hair wash with a relaxing head massage was a lovely bonus. The salon itself is clean, comfortable, and has a warm, personal atmosphere. The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service. Most importantly, I’m really happy with the result. Since I’m in Hong Kong regularly for work, I’m pretty sure I’ve just found my new hairdresser. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Coco!
It was my first time there. Coco was very friendly and patient. I’ve never met a hairstylist who explains so clearly what she is doing step by step and what to expect next. She checked in to make sure I was good with the length and also gave recommendations on the hairstyle. Women’s haircut with wash and blow dry was $209 as of June 2026.
I love the result! She gave a consultation with attention and cared for my hair very well. I love the cut and my hair feel so nice and smooth after shampoo. Definitely will go again and recommend to everyone 🫶
Visited for a hair wash and blow dry and loved my experience! Donna is so incredibly sweet and friendly and she really took the time to blow dry my hair (it’s very thick!). I had a lovely time here, highly recommend especially for tourists in the area! ☺️
I've been with Donna for over 15 years in Brisbane and absolutely love her style cuts, especially her bob cuts and colouring. She's truly a gem! Since she recently moved to Hong Kong, I miss her so much. If I ever get the chance, I’ll definitely visit her again at 1984 Hair Salon.
