Chai Wan Families Clinic

20 條It's ridiculously hard to get an appointment; people don't answer the phone. Even if I call at 8 pm, I can only get an appointment in the afternoon.
This clinic serves only government employees and their families; it is not open to the public. If all doctors are available, you can book an appointment in one of eight consultation rooms. However, there are far more patients than available appointments. The appointment hotline, which opens at 8:00 AM every morning, is always busy. Even when you do get through, you have to patiently wait five to ten minutes before someone answers, demonstrating how busy the lines are. I once tried calling from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, making about three or four hundred calls, and when I finally got through, all the appointments were already booked. What a pity! If you book an appointment by phone on the same day, you can choose which doctor in which consultation room you want to see. I don't know how high the doctor turnover rate is, but the doctor I've been seeing for years has never left. She's practically my family doctor. In fact, she is a very attentive and patient doctor.
The clinic wasn't dilapidated, and the doctor was nice, but it wasn't very modern either; they had recently started using a new method for dispensing medication.
must book before going, bring your own mask too, need to take a minibus at the MTR station, otherwise a good upslope hike, bit tricky to get there
Who would like to visit a clinic? Here is the Clinic I come with pleasure once around every 16 weeks. I get off at the Chai Wan MTR terminus and then take the green mini-bus route no.48 here. My families clinic was originally at Wan Chai, and it has never occurred to me that changing it to Chai Wan due to earlier appointments would make me really feel going to a families clinic. My family doctor is not just concerned about my acute problems but also my general well-being in body and in mind! My last visit was on October 20, 2017. I have even befriended with two kind-hearted and investigative nurses here. I illustrated how I captured photos, reviewed services and derived satisfaction via this platform, as they checked my blood pressure and other biometrics. It goes without saying that they are doing engaging and meaningful work. I can testify to that as a beneficiary: after every visit, I feel they have added life to my years and also years to my life! And I look forward to having my next families' visit in February 2018!
