I'm very satisfied with my experience at Assort. I was searching for a salon I knew could recreate the hairstyle I've always wanted and settled on Assort after some research. I was initially a bit nervous, as this was my first time getting my hair cut and colored professionally. I booked an appointment right when the salon opened, so I didn't have any wait time. I worked with Shintaro, and I appreciate that he was transparent about the difficulty in achieving the near-white I was going for. He also made sure I was OK with the price before proceeding. Throughout the entire process, Shintaro and Haruka, another stylist at Assort, were attentive and meticulous, even when the salon got busier later in the day. I never felt that they were cutting corners with my own haircut. Certain hairstyles may take up a good majority of your day, but the results are completely worth it. The white sections turned out a light gray, but I ended up liking them even more than I was expecting. I'd definitely recommend checking out Assort if you're looking for a premium haircut/color experience! (They were also playing J-pop which was a vibe.🤭) Some other details: - Started with straight virgin-black hair - Triple process color + haircut → 2750 HKD
I had a great experience getting a haircut and perm with Haru a few months ago. He and his assistant took great care and were extremely attentive throughout the whole process. He understood my vision for the perm and I’m sad I can’t easily go again as I’m far from hk. The perm lasted about 3 months, as predicted and my hair also does grow fast. I dream about this perm. Picture is from about 2.5 months with the perm.
I’m beyond happy with my new look! You can really feel the passion and professionalism here. No one has ever managed to achieve my dark silver/ ash gray hair color before — but he did. Thank you for taking such great care of me Haru!✨️🙏🏼 I will definitely return!
My first time getting a haircut here in HK and I decided to trust Assort HK and guess what? def worth it guys!! I arrived 15 mins earlier and the staff were accommodating. Gave me complimentary drink and snack while waiting. The salon was spacious, clean, and the ambiance of the place itself is relaxing ☺️ Haru-san and his assistant were superb! Catered my request and provided me a ziplock for the portion of my hair to be donated (i forgot to bring one 💀) Haru-san also taught me how to style my hair 💙 Overall, Me and Haru-san were both satisfied with my hair. I’m really happy I decided to try Assort HK. Also, if you’re thinking abt language-barrier, no worries guys bc the staff can speak english, japanese, and cantonese!!! Yosee helped me make my calico dreams come true! Him and his team were efficient, extremely capable and realistic as well with what my hair can achieve, providing useful aftercare tips and also tea and snacks. Very transparent about pricing too, especially since I needed an extra bleach session. Would definitely come back for another bleach and colour job!
