Nice clean salon but not blown away with the service! Got a great haircut however it was rough dried then I was sent out the door to leave! This isn’t standard in hair salons - you are asked “how would you like it styled? Straight or with bounce?”. I wanted a bouncy blowdry but she never asked me and dried it rough where it was a little frizzy on leaving. Was expecting some finesse for a 750$ haircut. Wasn’t offered a drink either. Wouldn’t return to be honest.
I tried Lagoon as i got curious on overwhelming good reviews. Now i totally understand the hype and can say they definitely earned a new permanent customer. Ryo is very easy to work with and he takes careful consideration on clients's expectations. The changes made on my hair look subtle but it definitely made huge improvement to both hair visuals and hair texture. Please try the hair treatment~ definitely worth every penny :)
It’s my first time and I had a very nice experience. Not only the salon atmosphere really relaxing but also I like the stylist provide a good suggestion on my hair color and style. I would definitely come back again to try the highlight and other hair treatment. One thing I like the most about Japanese salon is you will get a hair massage during hair washing and after. I fall asleep into it.
I can’t recommend Steve Masashi Suzuki enough for Japanese hair cut / coloring/ treatment needs. He listens intently to your requests and always delivers flawless execution. I went to Tokyo Assort in Tokyo before and their hair stylist recommended me to Steve in Hong Kong when I moved here and have been coming back ever since. I got brown color highlights and treatment in the picture below for a natural transition to grey-ing gracefully.
I have been using Nakada San for over 15 years even I moved to Germany, he will never let me down. I appreciate how he treated his customer and his delegation with passion to be hair stylist. Highly recommend him to be your number one stylist!
