Thank you Francis for a wonderful laser facial and cool sculpting appointment. Francis was wonderful and attentive.
Booked the heavily discounted trial facial. Upon arrival, I complete the new client paperwork and read that one of the releases permits Skin Laundry to use your images in marketing and promotions, so I declined to sign. I was then told by staff it was mandatory, despite the form clearly stating 'optional' (see photo). I informed staff I would consent to the taking of photos, but not their use of my image for marketing (after all, there is no need for a waiver just to take before & after photos, this is occasionally done at other clinics). The staff member was very polite and called her supervisor to get permission to proceed with the facial. After getting off the phone, she then told me the waiver was necessary to share photos with a dermatologist. This was a clear lie- the waiver does not mention sharing photos for medical care (and alarming as an aesthetics clinic should not be using medical grade lasers that could seriously harm the skin). I offered to sign a waiver to agree for the photos to be used for medical treatment, but staff declined this. Staff then told me she could not proceed with my appointment because I declined to agree for the company to use my photos in promotions and marketing (again, clearly labelled optional). I had traveled all that way for the facial and felt disappointed these requirements weren't clearly laid out at the time of booking. I have attended dozens of clinics over the years (in HK, US and Korea) and this is my first experience being told I must waive my privacy rights to obtain treatment (side note, another American-run company in HK has similarly tried to get me to sign an unnecessary rights waiver before). Please be aware of your rights and if you book here, know that this is NOT normal business practice at skin clinics in HK, the US or elsewhere.
I initially had mixed feelings about this clinic. The location is convenient, the facility is clean, and the staff are friendly. However, during my first visit for the signature laser treatment, I was caught off guard by an extra charge for hydro gel—even though I expected it to be included, based on my experience with other clinics. I voiced my concerns, and after leaving my feedback, the clinic responded proactively. They invited me back for a collagen laser treatment, which was a completely different experience. The staff took extra care to ensure I felt comfortable, and the treatment itself delivered excellent results. I truly appreciated their willingness to listen and make things right. After this follow-up visit, I feel much more confident in their client care and am happy with the results. I want to acknowledge the clinic for their responsive service and for turning my experience around. Thank you for going the extra mile. I would now consider returning, and I'm comfortable recommending the clinic to others based on my latest experience.
Have been coming since 2023 and it’s really life changing. Great location with neat and cute decor! Especially like the girls working here. Shout out to Daphne and Francis for always being so caring and attentive since the beginning. Also Jade and Tammy for going the extra mile to assist their clients with all their needs! Highly recommended whether it’s for quick fix or maintenance. There is always something for everyone.
The staff Francis is great! She is attentive, making sure every aspect of the treatment was perfect. It was evident that they were passionate about what they do, and it showed in the results. I highly recommend her and skin laundry !
