I won't go again. 1) Even with prepaid top-ups, they don't deduct from new treatments they offer. They force you to pay for everything. 2) When they did my eyebrows, they made a hole in them. When I told the beautician, they didn't even apologize. 3) After booking, every time I went, they seemed to not know what I wanted. They made me explain again on-site, and even after that, they said I had to go out to confirm, which was a waste of time. 4) They don't like answering customer questions on WhatsApp. Once, I wanted to ask about booking, and they didn't reply for a whole day, even though I saw they were online. 5) They left my mask on for 40 minutes, and it dried out completely. 6) Every time I get a facial there, I either break out in pimples or have an allergic reaction. Luckily, they've already deducted all the money. 7) I wanted to book a salon in Tsuen Wan because I've been getting facials there the whole time. They kept asking if I'd go to the branch in Kwai Fong 😪 There were so many other terrible things too, even one star is too much 🤢🤮
They're quite hard to sell. From buying packages to buying individual products, they'll give you a black face if you don't buy anything. Especially in Kwai Fong. And even with the same plan, everyone's technique is different; they don't do everything perfectly. Sometimes they just shave it off when they're shaping your eyebrows, sometimes they pluck them with tweezers.
My boyfriend and I went together, and they arranged a double room. We didn't need to fill out any forms and just went straight to the room, which was a plus. The whole experience was very comfortable. Since they didn't ask me to add anything, they cleaned the room thoroughly. After a while, I realized it was the old ground-floor shop on Sha Tsui Road. It survived the pandemic for four years and is still there, so it should be pretty good. The downside was that the restroom was located at the entrance.
The beauticians are so lax in their movements, they don't put in the effort. When they're selling, they're all talk and no action, but when it comes to actually doing the work, they're completely indifferent. When they do a body treatment, they just push it a couple of times and that's it.
Whether it's a "hard sell" or not is subjective. To be fair, it is indeed a one-time charge, but from the first time you go in, they'll try to explain the "company's operating model" to get you to buy a plan. If you don't buy, they'll try to get you to prepay more so they can continue selling next time. The concept of a one-time charge and transparent pricing is probably a trap. They'll always sell. I won't come back. Leaving the shop like this was extremely unpleasant; the sales tactics were terrible.
