32 條Although there are hospice services, a relative of mine was recently admitted to Wong Tai Sin Hospital, but the experience wasn't as expected. Even though they're in the final stages of life, I believe patients should still live with dignity. My family member is able to walk, but even wanting to take a shower requires an application; they say there are only two days a week for that. As a result, they couldn't shower on all four days. They also wouldn't allow my family member to shower by themselves; they insisted that the nurses help them. Why? Is it because they don't have enough manpower? They couldn't even get a shower on all four days... If patients can't even take a proper shower, if they have no dignity, they might as well go home and wait to die.
A close friend of mine from Hong Kong introduced me to this hospital clinic, I am very happy, all the staff are really kind, the doctor is very attentive and patient in listening, trusting In traditional Chinese medicine
Everything was okay. The worst thing was the speech therapist. They wouldn't listen to the patient's explanation and insisted on doing things their own way, acting like a big shot. They wanted me to eat that shredded meal. I said I had no problem and wanted a normal meal, and after a couple of arguments, they demanded I eat a non-treatment meal instead.
Located at 124 Sha Tin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon, Hong Kong, Wong Tai Sin Hospital opened in 1965 and is a public hospital specializing in nursing, rehabilitation, and convalescence. It also provides some specialist services, such as rehabilitation nursing in pulmonology, internal medicine, geriatrics, surgery, and orthopedics.
The area is small, but the environment is nice and the medical staff are mostly friendly and attentive. It is located in the middle of a large slope, which makes it inconvenient for people with mobility difficulties or visitors to get in and out.
