Cheung Sha Wan Dermatological Clinic

12 條In July 2026... Around April or May, I had redness and swelling on my calves. I visited a government clinic three times, but the swelling didn't subside. The doctor suggested a referral to a dermatologist. Taking the referral documents from the government clinic, I went to the dermatology clinic. Two young women there told me that this clinic wasn't part of HA.go and that I needed to fill out a form with my personal information, submit it along with the referral documents, and wait for an evaluation and notification letter before being scheduled. I didn't fill out the form at the clinic; instead, I checked online. The online information said that while it was part of HA.go, the waiting time was at least 2 years and 8 months 🥵. I was shocked! Three years to get treatment? 😤🤬... I left without filling out the form and went to my family doctor first to see if it was treatable before deciding whether to go to the government dermatology clinic. Fortunately, my family doctor 💯 (Dr. Kwok on Yuanzhou Street) only prescribed five days' worth of medication, including a cleanser and a topical cream. He assured me: "Don't worry, it's eczema, it will heal in a few days." I thought: I'd accept it even if it takes a few months, it's better than waiting 3 years for treatment. Now, only 2 weeks in, I feel like I've recovered 80-90%! 👏👏💯

Schedule a doctor's appointment
This third floor houses a dermatology clinic. Today, August 7, 2019, I officially filed my application for an appointment, and the waiting list is until February 2023 – a wait of three and a half years! Hong Kong's medical services are truly terrible.
Very Goodall Peter and useful.
