I have to say I don’t clearly get the answer for all inquiries. Somehow I am trying to get the clarification regarding to my condition. As I got to many different doctors to meet every time I come visit I just totally get confused also I asked for simple letter so I can show to my company what I can do and can’t do. But doctor wont let me have it. Also waiting hours is a bit disappointed at least you were there for all day to see the doctor
This old government hospital was transforming into a bigger one, expanding service to more aspects. There was only minibus serving the patients from Aberdeen and Wong Chuk Hang subway station, of which frequency was every 15 minutes. Although walking was one of the method to reach the hospital which took about 6 minutes, but it was not so convenient for a sick person. The flow for the patient was a bit complicated. Nurse was not so caring about patient as I felt. When the temperature was measured before entering the section, patient was not asked to remember the reading. After the patient went into the registry, the nurse had to record the temperature and asked the patient to go out again for the measuring. In this way, the patient was like being fool around. The service offered by the nurses and other assistants in the ward were better.
Used to be TB centre public hospitals in Hk island and now more like the cardiac training centre for public hospital. Now not only Heart Centre but also Eyes Centre.

A most interesting visit last Saturday to try to get my appointment with the Ophthalmic Department moved forward resulted in a new discovery. I have never heard of "triage" before, but met a delightful young male "triage" nurse. I was referred by the Aberdeen General Out-Patients Clinic (GOPC), but the soonest appointment I could get was at least 6 weeks away! I got some tea at the Circle K I understand which is to close in July and the staff canteen is take away only for visitors. I got some good photos and the place really pleased and impressed me as I haven't been there since about 1970!
