We had a good experience with Dr. Mak. He is kind hearted and affordable. His treatment is effective and he's truly compassionate. An excellent combination. We need more doctors like him. Thank you for keeping his clinic hours open when people need it. And let's remember that doctors are human too.
The latest price for an overnight appointment after 8 PM is HK$2000. No meal time is specified, but when you arrive, the doctor will say they're moving and not there. "24 hours" means after 11 PM; you need to book in advance. Even taking a taxi to the Hong Kong Plaza in the early morning wouldn't cost this much...
After seeing the doctor, there was no effect at all, so I need to find a second doctor to see.
DO NOT GO HERE unless you have absolutely no other choices. The whole clinic from the admin lady to Dr. Chris Mak 麥漢輝 was a total mess. Called in advance, asked the use of medical card. Arrived at clinic at a holiday evening, after waiting for 45 mins, the admin lady said she cannot get the medical card authorized. I gave her another card, same result. It was 8pm, it is our turn already, the admin lady still struggling with the medical cards. Suddenly another admin said the Doctor not available anymore!! With immediate effect!!! And ask other patients behind us to leave... I ask what about paying cash? Answer was NO!! Doc is about to leave~ We have to make a run to private hospital after wasting over an hour.
Nurses are rude. Doctor disappear even after dialing in, then what’s the point of keeping it opened?
