Refuses treatment to male patients. Completely unprofessional. Based on previous reviews I am not surprised. Terrible considering doctors’ duties are to provide care.
Dr.Ip is an experienced gynaecologist & GP. I went to Dr. Ip for all my checkups during pregnancy. She’s knowledgeable, caring and she gave me a lot of rest assurance (I’m a first time mom) My husband’s mom (my mother in law) has been going to Dr.Ip for her pregnancy years ago. We trust her, and now as a breastfeeding mom, I only go to her when I feel sick. She’s the only gynaecologist I trust in western district. Her meds are great! I got a cold when I was pregnant and her meds were really safe for pregnant women, I got better within a week. And now that I have a cold as a breastfeeding mom her medicine didn’t affect my supply! Highly recommend dr.Ip! She only charges me $250-450 depending on how much meds I need. All my ultrasound checkups when I was pregnant was $550 only! She prefers accepting cards, because it’s cleaner. She has became our family doctor!

Very rude doctor and not cooperative with patients. Insist on her own opinions and does not listen well. Do not visit if you want quality treatment!
This doctor tends to use milder treatments, but these only treat the symptoms, not the root cause. She also ignores patients' complaints, fails to diagnose the problem correctly, and delays treatment. For example, I once had severe diarrhea, with watery stools for several days. She simply prescribed laxatives and painkillers. When the diarrhea persisted, I saw another doctor, who then tested my stool and found E. coli, requiring antibiotics to cure it. Another time, I experienced pain in my perineal wound after childbirth. Dr. Ye only briefly examined the wound, saying there was some granulation tissue but no serious inflammation. She simply prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers and sent me away. The pain persisted, so I saw another gynecologist, who discovered that the internal stitches had been poorly sewn, and pus had accumulated, requiring immediate wound cleansing and treatment. It will definitely not happen again. I hope you won't have a first time.
