Went there for a hair cut on a whim one morning after breakfast. There wasn't much to say for a $200 pixie style hair cut. However, the stylist tried to upsell me to dye my hair since I have a few gray strands. I declined and she persisted saying it will make me look younger. At that point, I was quite offended. I will not be returning.
I had a haircut there last week and it was a good experience (and a cheap one too for HK standards!). The salon seems to have a largely local clientele. As I can't speak Cantonese, I was slightly worried about communication, but there are staff who speak English, and I believe you can probably make a booking to be sure. My hairdresser was Tac. She was very meticulous, made great effort to understand the style of haircut that I wanted and takes pride in delivering a good hair cut!
You get what you want. Local but not special. Edit 2nd experience: I had an appointment at 16:00. I got cut at 16:50. I came in before another woman which got helped BEFORE me. Disappointed. Won't come again.
Colour is bad... I already informed them and reminded them my hair is more fine, so the colour may appear lighter than normal on my hair. They eventually dyed my hair way too light and the tip of my hair looks darker than the top. They had colour mixing issues. they said they can re dye make it darker for me on the same day and I told them I already run out of time (they exceeded the original expected finish time by 20 minutes already). I had to go back the next day to re dye my hair, which really damages my hair as they use IDA for their dye, which is not high quality. So I had to waste another hour to get my colour fixed while having my hair damaged, and they charged me for hair wash.... very ridiculous.
