Turned out nothing was broken and she told me to go to get some medicine, and get a handmade brace to make sure that my bone wouldn’t grow crooked. I was like this for 3 weeks and by the 4th, I already felt all better. When it hurt, the nurses were very kind to me and told me the exact procedure very calmly which made me feel better than before.
During the appointment, the doctor named SHEUNG KEI TAK was extremely rude and acted in a way that was clearly unprofessional toward the patient. From the beginning of the interaction, the doctor’s tone and behavior were inappropriate. Instead of communicating respectfully and professionally, Dr. SHEUNG KEI TAK spoke in a manner that felt dismissive and disrespectful. The patient was not treated with the basic courtesy expected in a medical setting, and the overall communication style made the patient feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Moreover, the doctor did not demonstrate the level of professionalism that should be expected from someone in a healthcare role. The patient’s questions and concerns were not handled appropriately, and the doctor’s responses appeared unempathetic rather than supportive. The patient’s wellbeing and dignity were not treated with the seriousness they deserved. Overall, the patient experienced the appointment as hostile rather than helpful. This conduct is unacceptable in a clinical environment, and I believe it warrants review. I respectfully request that the relevant authority investigate this matter and ensure that proper standards of professionalism and respectful patient care are enforced going forward.
"TERRIBLE! The doctor who saw my daughter was completely focused on administrative matters. When I asked about my daughter’s actual condition, she was extremely rude. Sadly, this kind of treatment is no surprise in Hong Kong. Don’t waste your time here.
nurses and doctors were very rude, asking patients to wait even after more than 3 hours have passed. someone i know got badly cut in the thigh after a cabinet fell over them, and was admitted to this hospital. despite their bad injuries, they were left to wait for over three hours just to talk to a doctor. however, even after all the bad service, the doctor decided to do stitches on them without any anaesthesia or painkillers, just a yoga mat parents were forced to use to hold the child down from moving. that person today still gets memories from that day every time they pass by this hospital. staff are rude and doctors heartless so any other hospital would be better than this one.
Foreigner of Hong Kong. Went to this hospital from Disneyland via ambulance at 3am for alleged food poisoning. Service was prompt and professional. Cheap too for foreigners at 1300HKD inclding medicine. Discharged on the day. Compassion given by a nurse at A&E who provided a pair of slippers or would have gone back to Disneyland on barefoot.
