7 條The counter staff were extremely rude, acting like I owed them money and looking down on me. But please don't mind, because they should be a white card holder.

I just had a doctor's appointment today (October 14, 2025), and he was incredibly unethical. I'd heard good things about him before, but after going online, I found he had a ton of bad reviews. I arrived at the clinic at 4 PM, but the doctor didn't open until 5 PM. There were only 12 people waiting, and I waited two hours. When I went in, the doctor looked at my COVID test results and said they were inaccurate. He said there's no more COVID left (that was very unprofessional). He also questioned the brand of the medication, and when I found out it was from a major manufacturer, he said it might be expired (I bought it yesterday, and when I asked the pharmacy afterwards, the expiration date was 2027; even the pharmacist thought the doctor was strange). Initially, I calmly asked him what he could do, but he kept insisting I leave, get tested myself, and then go see a doctor on my own. He said I could go see the night doctor next door if I didn't want to see him, but he insisted that at this moment, he wouldn't do anything. He wouldn't diagnose me, nor would he prescribe any medication, even if it might just be a common cold. Two weeks ago, I just recovered from H1N1, and this time I felt much worse, so I came to see a doctor. Nobody wants to be sick. Even if it were just a common cold, he should have diagnosed the patient, but he just kept telling me to leave and made some very presumptuous and subjective statements. His unprofessional remarks are as follows, which is why I was angry: 1️⃣ Knowing I had influenza A, he said that influenza A and B are very common now, and it's not a problem to go to work or school (it's these incompetent doctors who have caused people to stop seeing doctors and become carriers, spreading the virus to high-risk individuals). He said it doesn't matter whether you take medication or not, and just yesterday a 13-year-old girl died of influenza B. 2️⃣ He also said that even if I had influenza A, it's normal to feel unwell and not need to see a doctor. He said that for influenza A and B, you only need to take Tamiflu and nothing else; it's very common and rarely a problem. He added that if it were COVID-19, there would be no medication available, as the government has already confiscated all the drugs, and he emphasized that there is no more COVID-19. 3️⃣ Finally, he subjectively diagnosed me with the common flu or a lingering effect of previous H1N1, without conducting any medical consultation. I already had yellow nasal discharge and muscle pain, and I work in a high-risk occupation, potentially transmitting germs to high-risk individuals that could lead to their death. But this doctor was self-righteous, assuming I was trying to cheat on my vacation or that the test was inaccurate, and unwilling to admit his overly hasty judgment. The entire process was extremely unprofessional. 4️⃣ The most unprofessional aspect was his self-contradiction. He said he wouldn't conduct any diagnosis, but then offered to give me a fake medical certificate midway through the consultation, without any consultation whatsoever. I didn't even ask for it; he just wanted to get rid of me. Isn't this unethical? Even if I didn't have COVID or influenza A/B, I should still have been seen and prescribed medication for a common cold. He told me he didn't think so, but what if the patient had some chronic illness and died? Would the doctor be held responsible? His behavior was tantamount to delaying treatment, and by the time it was evening clinic hours (I'd seen doctors costing between $600 and $1000 before), there were no other doctors available in Tuen Mun. I wasted two hours on this incompetent doctor. Even if the test wasn't accurate, the doctor's attitude was undeniably arrogant and unprofessional, and extremely arbitrary. He didn't ask any background information about me what a doctor should ask, such as whether I had traveled abroad. Most of what I heard were things a doctor shouldn't say (like, "If you're sick, you can go to work or school instead of seeing a doctor"). In short, despite having common flu symptoms, he told me to leave without any diagnosis, without prescribing any medication, and without taking any money. Furthermore, he issued a false certificate proving I had cold symptoms (he issued it himself; I didn't ask for it). He claimed he wouldn't issue false certificates randomly, but after spouting a bunch of self-righteous and unethical subjective judgments, he issued the certificate. In retrospect, he has already violated the professional code of conduct for doctors. I think the doctor's initial assumption that the test was wrong, and his statement that there was no more COVID, was merely a pretext for saving face, leading to the subsequent situation. This attitude completely violates medical ethics and wastes the patient's precious time. Think about it: if you went to see this doctor, and something serious happened—you might lose your life or miss treatment—even if you held him accountable, it would be useless. Therefore, I strongly advise everyone to think twice.
I went to see a doctor for tonsillitis, and I asked him if I still had COVID-19, whether I had all three shots, and if I had been tested. I also asked if it had been two years since my last diagnosis. Then he wrote me a letter telling me to see an ENT specialist. I'm very disappointed in this doctor!
