17 條Dr. Chan Sau-chuen in Lutheran, Tsuen Wan, was very patient and attentive, but the medication he prescribed had no effect whatsoever. My daughter had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius and a sore throat, so I took her to see the doctor. He prescribed three days' worth of medication, which cost HK$570. After taking the medication for two and a half days, the fever didn't go down, and the sore throat didn't improve at all; in fact, it got worse. ☹️ Later, I took my daughter to see other doctors. ☹️
I went to this lousy clinic for a cold, and after taking the medicine, my condition got worse. I didn't have a stuffy nose before, but after taking the medicine the doctor prescribed, my nose became so stuffy that I could barely breathe.
I am writing to express my concerns about an experience I had at your Tsuen Wan Clinic located at Lo Tak Court. I visited the clinic on 4Feb2025, arriving at approximately 8:24 PM, in anticipation of your advertised evening service, which your website lists as starting at 8:30 PM. Upon arrival, I noted that the clinic lights were on, and there was a staff member at the reception desk. The sign at the entrance indicated that the clinic was open. However, when I entered the facility, I was informed by the staff member that the evening session would not commence until 9:00 PM. This discrepancy in the operating hours on your website resulted in a significant inconvenience. Understanding that website discrepancies can occur, I politely inquired if I could wait inside the clinic due to the cold weather that day, recorded at 12 degrees. Unfortunately, I was informed that this would not be possible as the staff member needed to attend to matters upstairs. At this point, I was already feeling unwell and feverish, yet no further assistance or consideration for my health condition was provided. Upon my departure, I noticed two other patients arriving and inquiring about the availability of a doctor. This situation reflects the potential need for reevaluation of your clinic’s operating procedures to prevent misunderstandings and ensure patient comfort, especially when a wait is necessary. Historically, my encounters at the Tsuen Wan Clinic have been inconsistent. Having lived in Tsuen Wan for at least 10 years and consulting with Dr. Chan during daytime hours, I have experienced variable service levels, including past incidents of unprofessional behavior from staff members. These incidents had previously prompted me to seek services at another nearby clinic, only to encounter the same service issues upon my return. I am keen to understand how your customer service views these matters and to know what steps can be taken to enhance the patient experience at your clinics. I trust that you value patient feedback and are committed to addressing these concerns. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I look forward to your response and any insights you can provide into improving your clinic’s service quality.
I can't comment on whether the doctor was good or bad, but the young woman's attitude was extremely poor. Before leaving home, I called the medical center to ask about their opening hours. The young woman said, "Anyway," if I arrived before 11:00, a doctor would see me. I immediately took a taxi to the medical center and arrived at 10:50. The young woman said, "They've stopped admitting patients." I said I called again to ask, and they said a doctor would see me before 11:00. The young woman said, "Yes, the doctor had something urgent to do and left early, so they can't admit patients." (Her face was dark and her tone was curt, without even a hint of apology.) I was already feeling unwell at night, and this young woman's attitude was so offensive, I really wanted to faint. To see a doctor... I had to go through the young woman's registration process first...
